Griff, The Wire-haired Pointing Griffon

Ocasionally, Adventure Dog Ranch gets involved in finding homes for some of our canine friends. Griff's owner has to undergo several more surgeries and can no longer properly care for this beautiful and energetic dog.

Griff is a 5 year old Wire-haired Pointing Griffon & would make a great hunting companion for an outdoorsy type that has the time to devote to Griff's exercise needs. He lives to point, flush & retrieve birds and knows basic obedience and whistle commands. He also loves to run, play and visit with his dog friends at the ranch.

Because of his energy level and excitability, he would do best in a home with another young dog to play with. He still tends to a little mouthy, a puppy trait that is still hanging on, however there is no malice in his heart. He adores attention, however I don't recommend that he be placed in a home with small children.

This rare, pure-bred and registered Griffon, needs a home that will provide strong leadership, plenty of exercise, hunting opportunities and love. If you are interested in adopting Griff, email us at info@AdventureDogRanch.com and we will put you in touch with Griff's current owners.

The Ranch:

Our Beautiful 5 Acre facility in Marysville, WA offers cage-free dog boarding, with a safe, secure place for socialized dogs to play and frolic under the watchful eyes of the ADR Staff members. There are also plenty of places that an old dog can catch a well deserved nap.

Can My Dog Be an Adventure Dog?

Of Course it Can!

As with all good things, there are some simple rules.

All dogs must first pass the Adventure Dog Ranch evaluation. This Evaluation is done on-site at our facility, by appointment only. Both you and your pet will get to see the facility before-hand, this also helps insecure dogs become familiar with their surroundings, before you leave them with us.

There are some forms to fill out, (Aren't there always?) These are available here.

Last but not least, we'll need records from your veterinarian affirming that your pet(s) have had all of their shots. Additional Info available Here
